Radiator question
I have a question about the size of a stock 63-66 V8 radiator. I'm trying to find an aluminum replacement but am unsure about the size of the original one. If I could get some measurements off a stock one from top to bottom and side to side, including the tanks it would be a big help. Thanks.

Re: Radiator question
For 1/2 AND 3/4 Ton trucks that came originally with a 292 L-6 or V-8, 17 3/8 X 24 3/4" X 2"
63-66 TRUCK V8 ALUMINUM RADIATOR WITH AUTOMATIC TRANS http://www.classicindustries.com/tru...l80430and.html 63-66 TRUCK V8 ALUMINUM RADIATOR WITH AUTOMATIC TRANS 63-66 Chevy P/U V8 A/T Alm Rad Dimensions 17 1/4 x 25 1/2" x 2 5/8" 4 ROW Reproduction radiators install exactly like original! Unlike aftermarket replacements, our radiators mount correctly using original style brackets. Aftermarket radiators are usually not suited for installation to maintain originality. The original appearance is important to your restoration. Beware of replacement radiators which do not have the correct brackets for mounting. Each Classic radiator is equipped with a new tank andcore. Not a rebuilt! Comes complete with original style mounting brackets attached and installs as original to the radiator support. The fan shroud must be replaced if your are installing a radiator for air conditioned models on a vehicle which did not include factory air. This helps to maintain a correct fit and sufficient air flow to the engine. No Exchange Required! No Core Charge! Note: Fan shrouds, fan shroud brackets, radiator petcock, radiator cap and shroud mounting clips are available separately. Due to dimensional differences, fan shrouds are not interchangeable between air conditioned models and non air conditioned models.

Re: Radiator question
this is actually who from/what i got, it had 2 12" electric fans that came with it, no shroud but your original will work. yes it had the tranny cooler in it. I also put on an external just because I am an anal S.O.B. I think it was around $229 or so. mine is a 3 core/row
