It seems someone wanted to stuff a really hug engine into my truck they cut out part of the tranny supports. smashed in the front corners of the inner fenders and did this to my the motor mounts. Imm not sure the best way to remove these. Im thinking a grinder and lots of sparks though?

Cut it off and grind it flat again. What the hello were they thinking?

Probably looks worse than it is. I'd just cut those mounts off and grind down those globby welds and bolt in a set of stock type towers.

Yep, time for a grinder with a cutoff wheel and a grinding wheel. Once you get that mess removed, you will still need to do a little fabricating if you are going to put a V8 into your '60-'62. The frames on those are shorter than the '63 + trucks, so you will need a spacer on top of the frame for the motor mount bracket, no matter which style you go with.

Thnx everyone as soon as it stops raining Ill get the grinder out and go at it. Good idea on the wind shield mine needs replaced anyway though. Thnx captain fab for the great tip I didnt realize my 60 had a shorter frame and Im going to eventualy drop a 350 in it..
