Cool exhaust manifold interchangeablity

hey guys im trying to buy an exhuast manifold over in the parts section but have one major question. are a 292 and 250 exhuast manifold interchangeable or are they totally different. are far as configurations, i looked on several other sites and i cant seem to get a clear answer.

i need an exhaust manifold for my 250 and need to know if the 292 is the same

Gracias compas

Re: exhaust manifold interchangeablity

Headers are the same too, since 250s and 292s use about the same head. Some guys who like to lower their trucks have problems with the long-tube headers scraping/ bottoming out, but with stock stance there should be no issue.
Some OEM manifolds for the 292 have 3 studs [and rumored better flow] -- they were found on the bigger trucks: C/30s, -40s, -50s and -60s. Light truck manifolds have 2 studs. Mating with the face of the head is identical.

Re: exhaust manifold interchangeablity

I've not had one but heard of integrated head or manifolds. Which engine has that?
