Which SUBURBAN years had this style of middle row SEATBELT?

Looking for a new middle row seatbelt to replace my highly cracked one for my 83 Suburban. I have looked and it seems they changed them around 85 for the style seen below in the red crew cab, the style that would change to shoulder belts.
I have the style seen below in the blue crew cab.
What years did the "tall skinny version" run? Some time in the late 70's till 84?
Also, it appears that crew cab ones and Suburban ones are the same, just with a little bracket?
Thanks,
Blake

The seatbelt portion I am talking about is for the middle row on the Suburbans, I guess you might say center row.
The male portion that bolts to the floors near the doors.

Really? I wonder if just the crew cabs had different belts...they had no real reason to use the same belt as the burban anyway.

Here is another pic of what i'm talking about. A crew cab with the burban style belt.

Why are suburban seatbelt pictures so hard to find?

Yeppers...only "difference" is that in by suburban it is mounted the other way around...meaning the bolt is on the inboard side vice the outboard....so just spun around so to speak as compared to the pics you posted.

I'll try to remember to snap some pics tomorrow for you if you want.

Ok I understand now. My burb's got shoulder belts at all 4 doors. My old crew cab only had laps in the back and shoulders in front. Not sure when the switch was made from laps to shoulders in the rear on the burb/crews.

I think 1988 or 1989 is when the Suburbans got shoulder belts all around.
(Same for the Blazers)

Re: Which SUBURBAN years had this style of middle row SEATBELT?

I was just at the junkyard and the guy said the 3+3 had different seat belts (2nd row) than the suburban. This makes sense because the suburban seat folds up and the 3+3 does not.
The second row in a burb, needs to be really narrow to give room for the folding seat.
Looking for some myself.
