Need A Torque Spec. Please ...
Hey all,
I just bought a 73-87 front sway bar for my 72 4x4. Looking for the factory torque spec. on the bolts that hold the bar to the upper spring plates. These are the 3/4 inch bolts. Thanks for your help. 72longbed |

I like that "goodntight" .... but I still need that torque spec.
I'll post over on the 73-87 board and see if they might know. 72longbed |

Yes, I'm using a 73-87 4x4 front sway bar on my truck. All you do is change the upper spring plates to the later year plates and then you have to fab up an upper support for the bar bushing mounts.
Thanks to 1malo68 for the torque spec. ..... I think I'll go with that 130 ft.lbs. Thanks, 72longbed |
