Drop coil spring
So let's put it out there once and for ALL...... 3in drop springs. Is it just the brand or is all 3in drop spring have a hard ride... I have read may things on here, just won't to catch it all on one thread..... So guys how do you feel about these 3in springs

I have Summit Brand (Ground Force) 3" drop springs in my '69 swb.
I like them just fine. Also, only $89.95 per set.

Do they have them in a 2" drop? I have not seen them in the catalog. They may be the way to go fir spindles and springs.

You have to search for 73-87 springs.

The lowest point (of the lower a-arm) is 2.5" off the ground.

That's the problem with the trucks.
The lower a-arms hang down too far. The frame has plenty of clearance. That's why the Dropmember works so great. You gain about 3" of ground clearance. My a-arms already have a little paint rubbed off.

2 more in. I've got one spring that is cock eyed have been told that itwill seat itself..but I don't like it... May go get spring compressor again..
So 4.5 front 5or6 in rear |
