Where to mount front e-level sensors on '68 dropmembered C10??

I found a place to mount the rear... but I have no idea where to mount them on the front.

The biggest issue I am coming across is that my drop member, upper and lower control arms are already powder coated. So I dont want to weld anything to them. I dont mind drilling a hole but welding is not an option. Although I can weld on the frame... its painted.

Here are some pics of the rear. I welded a 16 guage plate inside the frame and mounted the sensor to it.

Now I just need to figure out the front. If you have pics of where you mounted yours i would be GLAD to see them.

Here is a pic that Accuair sent me for a front sensor mount. Notice the standoff that attaches to the lca. They drilled and tapped the lca, no welding. you can get the stand off from grainger. Search for a threaded spacer or standoff. You might have to get creative with the way you mount it but it looks like you have several options based on some of your build pics.

I looked through your build thread. Nice. None of my pictures would have done you any good. My ECU, valves, and compressor all mount to the bed from custom brackets. All your porterbuilt stuff is unique and the way my sensors mount would not do you any good.

Thanks nate for the post. That was a great place to mount them....and easy. Took me about 1.5 hours to get everything measured, drilled, and mounted up. Will post pics up in my build thread.
