Fuel Gauge Issue
My fuel guage wouldn't go above a quarter of a tank. The truck came with an extra sending unit, which looked somewhat used, so I changed it out this past weekend. It worked perfectly until today when I filled the tank up for the first time since changing it out. Now the gauge acts exactly like it used to.

Check your grounds and clean any terminals. I had mine not going all the way full and I cleaned up all of the connections and it works good now.

Same problem here. Found some info on the net about an original sending unit with a newer gauge. A resistor needs to be put inline. The site also mentioned using a pot. inline to fine tune it. I've not got around to trying it yet but I think I saved the link to the info. I'll post it here if I have it.
