Is my thinking correct?
So a torque convertor multiplies the power an engine makes what if you had one with just say 1000hp and 800lb/ft ft/lbs of torque. Then instead of a normal torque convertor you used one of the hollow ones that drives your pump could you save the shock to your transmission or put a better way would it be able to handle more power or less power than with a torque convertor? I'm just curious because even though it works in boats with that BLANK Drive they use with TH400's could it work in a vehicle?
