Re: progress
Just stock single stage blue with white top. Body work is going to be far from perfect, just need some color as it sits outside.

Re: progress
Looks great! I started painting again after about 25 and it comes back to you fast, plus these urethane paints are great to use. Good luck

Re: progress
I got it in primer today, using tp tools turbine system, its all I have. Most panels look good, smooth execpt the hood. About 20 minutes after the last coat it started looking like it got dirt in it. I used ppg 312 urathane surfacer and slow reducer mixed 4 to 1 to 1, waited 30 minutes between coats. Put on 3 coats. TP tools said to use reducer in the primer as the turbine heats the air. Used a 1.8 tip. This was shot over 5 year old primer that i 180 gritted. What went wrong ,solvent pop? moisture? Thanks.

Re: progress
Every thing was dry, the turbine heats the air, so no water or oil in the paint. I'm going to use 320 wet to see if it sands out, I have just enough primer left to do the hood and maybe the tailgate, I had it in the garage and forgot all about it, it didn't get a single coat.
