roll pan or bumper
So the first thing that i need to do on my new truck, is to get a rear bumper. I'm not sure if it's legal to drive it as it is, but I'm pretty sure you have to have license plate lights to be legal.
Trying to decide on a roll pan or smooth chrome bumper. Does anyone have any suggestions. Also need suggestions on a vender who has roll pans that fit nicely. I am leaning towards the roll pan if i can find a nice fitting one at a good price... |

I think I got this one at ECE for about $100 in 2004...Trucks gone. New roll pan on the current build. Here's a "quickie"...If you want more "finessing", let me know. But this may give you a rough idea.

Re: roll pan or bumper
I know there are a hundred roll pan pics on the Forum. But I figured I show this one of the "new" build during mock up and before the lines were straight just to show the $85 craigslist roll pan and tail gate all in the same (temp) color.

Nothing looks as good as a chrome sport bumper imo.

Okay. Again, rough "Photoshop". But it may help.

However, when someone writes first before filtering out the fact that they may be slamming someone else's taste for no real reason? Or if, in fact, they don't care if they offend someone that they probably otherwise may share some common interest? Well, I consider that to be a stupid move. But that's just my (filtered) opinion.

Re: roll pan or bumper
Here are a few ideas of what a chrome sport bumper can do for you.

Re: roll pan or bumper
I actually won that off eBay for $90 plus like $20 shipping. Was listed as damaged but when I got it, one whack with a mallet on the bottom edge and she was as straight as an arrow. Was very pleased. I just think the chrome sport bumper gives it a classy look. My brother-in-law has a roll pan on his and it just looks like its incomplete.
