68 c-20 rocker panels and inner i.2 mm is this thick enough
have replacement rockers for my 68 but they seem afully thin i really hate to cut out my steel and put in this chineese tin can replacements that came with my truck but i really dont have much choice as im not loaded and finding an old trruck with good rockers in a junkyard isnt going to be easy any ideas ?

1.2 MM is roughly the same thickness as the OEM sheetmetal, You could seek out a set of factory NOS rockers but those are expensive and from the many rockers I have replaced over the years (both OEM NOS, early repops (Junk) and good repops)
I have found most (not all) of the recently manufactured "offshore" rockers fit as good as the OEM ones, I had stashed many sets of NOS ones over the years but sold them all because I can purchase 10 sets of repops for what one set of NOS ones bring. |

i just ran into a 72 motorhome cab and chassis bb ac low miles guy wants 1800 might get it for 15 too much?
