Got The 66 GMC home..
well, i went down i bought the truck from the farmer down the road today. filled the tires up and used my truck to tow it home. she needs lots of love. havent figured out whether or not i should keep it. Its alittle more work then i can handle, and im already buying my friends 70 swb c10. we'll see. ill probably sell it. but it definitely is cool looking. had a title. its got a 10 bolt rear 5lug, but 6lug up front. straight 6 with 3 on the tree that a friend has already got dibs on and paid me for it. thought id just share my find. i love the steering wheel, and thought about snatching it out for my truck. its got some severe rockerpanel, pans, and cab corner rust. but its all fixable.

Re: Got The 66 GMC home..
thanx glos55, it was an interesting trek home. had about 3 miles to get it back to the house, no brakes, and plenty of hills with an old highway at the end to cross. but its now sitting behind the garage. havent decided what to do with it yet, just went ahead and bought it. hey my dad crosses through kalamazoo on his way to battlecreek all the time.

here is some more pics of the truck. rockers are rough, floors are rough around the edges and cab corners are on the rough side. she needs alot of love so im probably gonna find her a new home since im buying a '70 c10. i wanna keep the steering wheel and im debating pulling it off. gotta pull the engine and trans because my friend bought the i6 for his truck.
