Re: 72 two wheeldrive conversion
I know the frames are different on the front as the four wheel drives have an "offset" for the axle travel. You may want to move this to the 67-72 specific forum and Im sure a bunch can offer advice. My advice would be to find an old cancer ridden 4X truck and recycle the frame.

If you are planing on running a lift anyway,
the frame design is not a major issue Here is where you need to search: http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=17 Hint: you need to be a paying member to search on PBB, to bypass that go to Google, Click advance search and fill the fields what you are searching for is SAS, or straight axle conversion, or swap.
