I need a mig welder for my garage. Does anyone have one they need to get rid of or know of a good place to buy one. I need to start some projects on my truck, but need the tools to do it. I don't want to rent something I will always use.

I got the Lincoln 135 from Home Depot for $368 I believe. I think that is a good deal.

If your just going to do thin metals like body then the 110 units do "OK" but there are supose to be on a dedicated 20amp. Personnaly I have used both and I decided that 220v welders are the way to go. Better duty cycle and can do anything you want. I use a Hobart Handler 175 and it's been great. I have built a 5x10ft trailer with it and then welded in a floor in a jeep.. It's a great welder for a home shop. That one comes with regulators and every thing you need. Just add your tank and wire. Many of those 110 units the regulator is not included and it ad another $100 to the price. Well add another $100 and you got a 220 machine that can do anything you throw at it.

GET THE BIG TANK from your local welding supply place and don't order one. It's goes through gas faster then wire.

I decided to go with the Hobart 135 and love it!! I haven't had a chance to weld anything other than body panels and some light steel work but man it does a great job.

Mine came with everything I need but the bottle. Comes with a quality regulator gauge setup and some flux wire (trash material), pitch it and go get some regular wire lol. This model even comes with a Cart.

I agree with the gas bottles, the small one I have is just too small. I'm going to trade it in for the larger one later on.
