U-joint question
Hey guys, I have a 67 K10, but I need help from you 70's and 80's guys. I just put 1988 K5 axles under my truck. I'm having a problem with the u-joints mating up. Auto stores say it's the same u-joint, but I don't think so. Can someone send me a pic of the front or rear u-joint at the diff? I need to know if I need a different u-joint, or retainer. Not sure. My yolks are over 1/2 an inch narrower than the ones on the 88 rear, there are no clips or tabs to hold my caps from walking out. Thanks!

Re: U-joint question
If your truck had a 12 bolt originally, I think it had a 1330 ujoint. The 10 bolts used a 1310 I think. Maybe someone a little more certain can chime in? They should list a conversion ujoint to make your shaft work with the new rear end.
