Every one that I have seen sold on ebay goes for at least $100. They sell that repop for $250 I think, but heard they're not that great. Should go for a decent price.

A friend should just gift it to you, I mean a real friend would, right?

That's right about the friend thing and it is the Season for giving isn't it?
Make sure it's for a V8 if that's what your running and if it's an older tach's it might need the transmitter.

Re: Could this be a factory tach for a 64-66 chevy truck

The sunpro EB-8 was the tach the factory used, and it didn't require a transmitter. It was a self-contained unit.

Factory tach hook up is pretty easy. The tach wiring is seperate from the rest of the wiring harness, so this makes is easier. The tach's ground is through the metal dash so there are only two wires to hook up. The power plugs into the fuse panel and the sensor wire is hooked to the negative (-) terminal on the coil.

Re: Could this be a factory tach for a 64-66 chevy truck

The vacuum guage was the hardest to come across. My guages came from c-50 and had a tach and air guage for the brakes originally, but I wanted the factory vacuum guage. Took me two years to find one, but Im loving it just because you rarely ever come across them. I also chromed the gauge bezel, which I may keep or go back to the original painted one. I get alot of glare off of it.

It looks to me like it would fit just fine. Correct diameter, half sweep, and looks just like the 5k tach. But that's for Chev. You didn't say if it was Chev or GMC.
