Manual to power break conversion

Question: In a 71 C10 with manual breaks will I just need to add a booster and proportioning valve to upgrade to power, or will I also need a new master cylinder? Also who has the best stuff out there for the money?

Thanks in advance, Mike

I honestly found it to be easier to rip off a front cross member with power disk already on it, and steal the master cylinder while you're at it.

If you buy a 73 set of disk brakes with spindles from a wrecking yard you can pick up parts from your local auto store to do most of the conversions, and fat man fab sells the adjusting sleeves you need.

and you can also go the route of CPP, and get the full conversion kit. All depends on your budget and such.
