Converting leaf to coil
Is it tough to convert a rear leaf set up to a coil or bag set up?

i think the biggest problem is that the frame of a coil truck is wider than a leaf truck... or visa-versa. You may still be able to rig it though... it wont be a simple bolt on that way but may be possible. Axel house welding will have to be done probably.

the 4x4s,longhorns, & 1 tons have a different frame width at the rear(34" rail to rail). On the 2 wd 1/2 & 3/4 trucks, leaf or coil can be fitted , as the rails are the same width......just a matter of swapping the crossmember, brackets, trail arms & track bar/coils/ect. Good luck, crazyL
