Automatic Transmission install questions
I am thinking about putting an auto transmission in my 65 C10. What I am wondering is if I should use a Ididit column or an auto chevy column out of a later model truck? If so which column would fit and work best. I was thinking of putting in a 200R4 trans. Is this a pretty easy swap? Is this the right transmission? I kinda like the stock look with my truck. Any help or photos would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Automatic Transmission install questions
What are you running for engine trans now, and yes any 67 to 86 auto ( tilt or standard ) column will work including van, you`ll make up the differance with an intermediate column section from just aft of the firewall to the steering box.
