wood bed help
hey guys can u put a wood bed in a truck that came org with steel floor iam getting a 72 super short box next week and was thinking of putting a wood bed in it is the posable ???? with out to much work ?????

Not without a lot of work. The cross sills and front panel are different. I would just buy one that lays on top the steel floor from Bruce Horkey.

You can drop in Horkeys for a nice look, and still pull it out when you need a steel floor to haul something. The best of both worlds. Plus Horkeys has more wood to choose from than oak or pine. I don't see how that is wrong

Did you make your wood for $225 or the whole conversion? That is a screamin deal, I did the Mar-K route and it was definelty not under $300 haha. And I did my own wood >.<

I shouldn't have said it was wrong when really its just an alternative. So, do you want a wood bed or wood bed look? I personally would never go faux.

Horkeys is not faux, it is real wood. It is just removeable as opposed to permanent.
