Gold/Ochre/Yellow & Black trucks? - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Does anyone have a picture of a Gold/Ochre/Yellow truck with Black? I know there's lots of examples of Gold with White and just gold, but I can't find any with gold and black.

I just made a deal on a 72 SWB that's originally gold & white but will need repainted. I'm not crazy about this combination, but want to consider similar options before I plan on doing a complete color change.

As a born and raised Pittsburgh-er, Black and Gold came to mind, but I can't find any examples.

What do you think about a gold & black Cheyenne?

I think it could look great! I think I'd use Black in the accent paint areas on the Gold. It it Gold Poly?

Here is my old black and gold 70. Not a very common combo.

i have seen a truck like the one above with just the gold on the roof and a full black bottom all nicely painted and i loved it. something at that time i have never seen before. only saw the truck for a short time. i have since only seen one pic of a truck like it was. this is not the exact truck but looks nice all the same.

It looks good. I know a littlelater in the mid-70s GMC came out with the Gentleman Jim and those looked awesome!
