There's this thing on the "interwebs" called "Google"....maybe you've heard of it. If not, you have no business putting airbags on your truck. If you are familiar with this Google thing- I suggest using it!

Seriously though, this kind of question is pointless without some background info, like how much $$$ do you want to spend? Are you doing the work or farming it out? Are you running stock trailing arms or a 4-link of some sort? How big of a tank you want? How fast do you want to inflate your system? Do you want electric compressors or engine driven? Do you want a self-contained assembly or a plumbed component setup? Are you mounting under the bed, in the bed, in the cab? There are literally hundreds of outfits out there selling all manner of air-suspension kits and components. Here's just a few.

was just hoping some one could point me in the direction of documented picture filled builds and i would just take it from there. thats why i posted here.should have phased my title different obviously. sorry ill do more research folks then come back. rich

Ya know your post goes against everything a "discussion forum" and "community" is about. We are here to ask questions and get answers and discuss things. There is an excellent write up (but I can't find it now) on this site. It depends on what you are looking to do, what year truck, and how much effort you are willing to put into it.

My first bagged truck was a '69 and I did everything based on the info on this site. My '66 will be built using parts from site vendors and installed using info from others builds.

Give us some more info rich67 and we can point you to some good builds and vendors to get you ready!

Here's what's needed:

1. What year truck and suspension type do you currently have and what modifications to the suspension have you already done.
2. How low do you want to go?

There'll be many more questions to ask after this, but this will at least let us get ya in the right direction.

thanks dingfodgy for sites to check out. josh, just thanx. jimmydean gonna check out. tubbedII heres what ive got. a 67 chassis with 3" lowering springs(coils) front and back. previous owner. chassis is stripped down. now would be the time if air ride is an option. dont want a slammed truck. but know they look good lowered some. thinkin of 15"vette style rallys. can do all of work myself. dont think i want to take away from motor for compressor. can you buy with certain range on bags? 2"-3" etc.? lets go from there? rich

If your after a lowered truck that rides great and handles great look at ridetech.With ridetech every thing has bump stops so it won't lay frame.Size of compressor and air tank depends on how much play time you want with it.If you want just the basic up and down when parking and taking off a 3 gallon and a single compressor is enough.
