Finally got my Blazer and looking for wheel opinions...
Well, I first posted about this Blazer back in the spring, but have finally got everything worked out, and got it "almost" home. It's sitting at my in-laws house till tomorrow or maybe Monday.
Overall it's in great shape. Just some maintenance that's been overlooked from sitting. I bought it off Dad who bought it off a family friend. Since April we've replaced tie rod ends, drag link, front sway bar bushings, steering box, steering hoses, rear shoes, wheel cylinders, master cylinder, battery, alternator, and tires. Still needs a new A/C compressor, and a few other minor things, but only a few very tiny spots of rust. Driver's seat is worn out, but the rest of the interior is nice, just a bit dirty. Probably needs a tune up, but runs great right now. It's got a fresh 350/TH350, tilt, cruise, and I have everything for power windows up front. Thinking about going with power gate window. I picked up a really nice '73 grill and headlight bezels off craigslist. Just need to get the low grill trim, and mount brackets. It already had a 2" lift, so I went with GY Duratracs in 33x12.5x15 on a set of ralleys that Dad had, but thinking about maybe using the wagon wheels that were on it. Just can't decide. Thought maybe someone might have pictures. Right now the ralleys are white. Thinking about powder coating them black or maybe just white again. Also, considering powder coating the wagon wheels either white or black. My utility trailer has Chevy car ralleys powder coated black. So, kinda thinking about staying with the ralleys in black, but... Here's what it looks like now... And here's a pic of the D-Windows I have on my Dodge, and the look I would be going for. I have new chrome center caps, lug nuts, and decent rings for the wagon wheels. and since I'm in the picture posting mood, here is my trailer. Will be using it a lot more now. Since I bought the Blazer I have sold my long bed Dodge. |

The rally's look really well painted. Spray them black and polish up the rings and centers. If you change your mind you won't be out any money.

Well, I'm really leaning towards the black ralleys, but I'll probably powder coat them. Got a friend with a shop that I can break the tires down, and I have a blast cabinet and powder coater. I did the car ralleys on my trailer. Will probably rattle can them first though before breaking them down to make sure I like the look.
