column to floor shifter conversion help?

How hard is this to do and how much does it cost? can someone give me some links to the stuff i need? i just hate the column shift

77 c10 (went from a inline 6 to 350) (converted to 3 speed in the floor)
350: mild cam, holley 600cfm 4bbl, summit stage 1 intake, accel billet distributer, flowtech headers, 2 1/4" exhaust with glasspacks, powermaster 160a alternator.

Its really pretty easy, buy a hurst Mastershift shifter and find the mounting kit that matches your transmission and install it. I just did it myself, I used the Hurst 3670010 Manual Shifters Mastershift 3-Speed Installation Kit, I have a saginaw 3-speed transmission.

Then, regarding the column, I cut the "stub" off (where the shifter used to attach) and mounted my Sun tach over the hole.

ok i bought the hurst mastershift and the installation kit now where exactly am i supposed to cut the hole in the floor at?
