Looks great except for the hood.

It really would be worth more to me if it was restored to factory specs.

I agree. Especially when you consider the engine sits about a foot below the hood in this one.

Not sure if the owner did the work himself. Even if he did there's a ton of money in that truck and a ton of time. Its a beautiful example of our trucks no question! Good job, hope the truck sells for what the owner is happy with. cheers, Pat

I'd love to have it. Beautiful truck.

That could be an LT4 conversion for all we know, but even still there's nothing wrong with an LT1 .. friggin wicked truck in my opinion.

Re: You are looking for a $40k truck. Here is one

Thanks for your expert opinion on engines, I have a LT1 in my 67..I'm sure you have something better, but the LT1s make 300 hp stock, and get great fuel mileage when paired to the matching 4 speed auto. Tons better acceleration and economy than conventional a SBC and 3 speed auto's.

Nice truck. Love the houndstooth!!
I just love how all the haters come out of the woodwork to rip apart what is probably a much nicer truck than most of us own, including myself.

to each his own, but if you (all haters) have nothing nice to say, let alone constructive criticizism, keep your comments to yourself. This is one of the most negative forums I post on.

Thumbs up Re: You are looking for a $40k truck. Here is one

Well I give the guy 2 thumbs up on the truck.
#1 it's a 67-72 Chevy Truck and that's why we are all here...right?
After some of these post I wonder though.

#2 He likes it and that is all that counts! Period
Why can't there just be a nice post about the truck.
I didn't see anything in his add bad about any of you.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Re: You are looking for a $40k truck. Here is one

Honestly.. I came to this thread with all thoughts of it needing to be locked. 99% of the time, ones like this do. I have seen nothing ugly, and actual calm decent discussion.. No one is hating at all. Just because someone has a different opinion, does not mean they are being ugly. We bust our ashes to off posts that are negative and keep the site clean. Most other sites just let it go and allow major bash fests. Maybe its to early, but I took more offense to the this site is negative posts, then to anything posted before it.

Also if a post is, in your opinion, negative.. please use the report a post button telling folks they are all negative is not doing anything positive for the thread or community either.

Thanks!
