WTB: Bare Frame
OK, Aparently I cant stay away from these trucks and am now looking for a 2wd shortbed frame to start my next build. Rolling is fine or bare is OK too, just depends on condition, distance, and price. Would consider a frame already dropped and rebuilt if it is a static drop. Cheaper the better! Price and pics please. Thanks.

Re: WTB: Bare Frame
I have a nice 71 frame and start... swb leaf spring with brand new (a few miles) BFG radials on rear and really nice 15" steelies with chrome beauty rings as well. Has a solid 68 327 Impala motor in it with Edlebrock rpm intake... clutch fan... and very nice almost brand ne 3 core radiator.. New hard lines ran all the way from prop valve to rear with new hoses... pretty new Monroe Air shocks.. Front suspension and steering was all nice and tight... With pretty darn clean a arms and all that jazz. Has cab but it has seen better days for sure... Will sell with motor and trans 350 TH for $1200... 750 for rolling frame/chasis.. SWB LEAF!! It is REALLY nice and straight plus the new rear radials are $300+ all day... have MANY PICS!!!

Re: WTB: Bare Frame
Going to try to find one a little closer first. Sounds like a good possibility though.

Re: WTB: Bare Frame
some teasers... oh yeah...and the rolling frame/chassis would come with EVERYTHING... cab, column, steer components, etc... front clip (not the best but it's there) and really nice rust free hood.

Re: WTB: Bare Frame
coming down to Ga anytime soon? I've got a 69 frame that I'd pretty much give away. Was going to scrap it this past weekend, but I know as soon as I do that I'll want/need it. I'd take $100 like it sits, which is rolling on 6 lug rallys with rotten tires (they hold air for maybe 6 hours). I'm probably too far, just wanted to throw it out there just in case.

Re: WTB: Bare Frame
Definately interested. Any rust in the kick panels or lower A pillar(fender extension) Rusted through inside rocker if you are looking through the plug in the front of the rocker itself? Would like to see about shipping a bare cab if you know anyone who could do that. Thanks again for posting pics.

Re: WTB: Bare Frame
I can look closer, but the kick panels are good and those 3 issues were the only things I could find. I could put this on a pallet, but we are looking at around $600. Where is
fine69 when you need him? |
