Rear Roll Bar

I had a couple people ask to see photos of how the factory rear roll bar mounts from another thread... Starting a new thread so as not to hijack the other one... I only took pictures of the side with the spare tire carrier since both sides mount the same and that side is trickiest... Excuse the dirt just returned from a weekend camping trip in the mountains, it needs a good vacuuming... ;-)

Re: Rear Roll Bar

Out of curiosity, is there a flange at the bottom of the pipe that bolts to the floor?

Yes, there is a flange welded to the bottom of both tubes, it bolts through the floor, and has a matching reinforcing plate on the under side...

I snagged one for my 75 a few years back and can confirm what he posted. There are flanges at the bottom of the tubes and had matching plates on the outside under the floor and in the wheelhouse.
