This is using the stock arms, the center section and a 360 degree rotation motor from a Toyota and its switch.

I cut the vacuum motor shaft off and welded a 1/4" bolt to it where the original motor shaft was. Went to Lowes found 1/4" x 3/8" long bushings and some tube. Found an mounting point behind the dash (mine was easy, its an Impala dash, the stock dash may take a little fabrication)

Made a small tab, slotted it for adjustment and welded it to the bottom of the drivers side stock linkage arm

The Toyota motor with its original drive arm that I modified to allow some adjustment. The original wiper system requires approximately 2 1/2" of strock to operate. The toyota motor was about 2 1/4" inch diameter in its rotation. I added a small piece into the arm to get the correct stroke.

The Toyota motor has a splined shaft where the arm attaches so the arm can be rotated to the correct position.

This the motor mount. Mounted on the passenger side and welded to the top of the air intake .

It works smoothly and is very quiet. You need to set the park position of the motor so it is pointing towards the drivers side.

Re: easy AD WIPERS

What model Toyota did the motor come out of? Year and model? Or do you know if they're most all the same?

Re: easy AD WIPERS

The motor I used came out of a 1970 Toyota Corona. I don't see any reason why most other 360 degree rotation motors wouldn't work. The only thing that took adjusting was getting the stroke (diameter of rotation) of the motor to match the stroke required in the existing AD linkage.
