Hello people.
I've been lurking on here for the past 7 or so years. Gained a ton of useful information from the beginning when I first started researching these trucks to know what I was looking at--or looking for--and while restoring a '69 short fleet.
Well, the fleetside met it's demise when brake failure had me headed for a pole to avoid a very busy 3 lane each way local boulevard, so I've replaced it with a '69 step, and a garage full of boxes, most of which say Porterbuilt on them.
Not as much a fan of the stepsides, but RustSpot's truck is insane...Love that truck.
And so...I'll post some pics here, and give a shot at posting a build.
Thanks to everyone for the education, and the inspiration.
