AC Problem
It's winter here in Texas and that's the best time to fix air conditioning problems. When I bought this truck ('84 Silverado) I was told that it has a bad AC clutch. The AC won't kick in unless you bump the clutch really hard...then it does. I'm wanting to change out just the clutch but I can't find anywhere that just sells the clutch. Anyone know anywhere to get just that part? Or am I better swapping out the whole unit?

Re: AC Problem
Check the voltage on the power wire. The wire may not have enough juice. Check the ground from the plug. Actually, cut it and ground it really good.

Re: AC Problem
I just changed mine this past weekend. Mine was doing the same exact thing. I bought a new compressor, and an acumulator. Now everything is blowing COLD!
