chrome steps
Hi there! I'm new to this section of the forums. I have bee restoring a 65 chevy for the past year and a half, but I also have a 1977 step side k10. It was a show truck up until about 6 years ago, it still looks pretty nice for a 35year old truck, but I haven't given it the attention it deserves for awhile but will be starting to shine her back up again soon. When I got the the truck it came with the chrome bed steps and now they are getting pretty rusty. Does anyone have a line on new chrome replacemnts, or an average price I could expect to pay to have them rechromed? Thanks for any help or advice on this. I'm sure I will have tons more questions when I get started cleaning the old girl up.
Thanks again!!

Re: chrome steps
I had a chromed set in bad shape, and wanted to get a new set. But they are no longer available.
The only way is to buy a normal set and get someone to chrome them. I went back to painted steps so I never found out what it would cost to get them re chromed.
