Another headliner question...
Neither of my trucks originally came with factory headliners. I was looking at some stuff and see Brothers offers a kit
Has anyone used or seen the kit offered from Brothers? 67-72 Custom Headliner - Suburban - Perforated Vinyl http://www.brotherstrucks.com/prodin...number=CHL72SV

Re: Another headliner question...
Yea, I bought the perforated vinyl headliner and never installed it.
You need a skilled upholsterer to install it, and to provide new steel rods as the bows. Plus the installer will have to figure out a nice way to do the finished edges. All this work means hours of work, which to an upholsterer equals $$$. After learning all this, I decided to scrap the idea...

Re: Another headliner question...
I ordered one of these. I showed it to my uholsterer. Everything has to be converted to a hanging type headliner.Lots of work. He advised me, if this is the type I wanted, he could make one better and quite a bit cheaper. I sent it back and we made one from panel board, like the original.
