CPP or ECE

I am installing a 6.0 in my 71 Suburban I would like to leave my air conditioning pump mounted low with the existing mounts and stock exhaust manifolds.

I bought an adapter plate that hits my pump bracket on the passenger side and I decided that it my be better to buy other perches and mounts.

Has anyone done this and which mounts should I buy?

Re: CPP or ECE

I got them from ECE, they allow for moving front or back frame holes. CPP doesnt, you have to drill. besides CPP has had alot of customer service issues, ECE is always there to help

Re: CPP or ECE

I talked with both this morning CCP now makes theirs Adjustable and Early Classics did not lmention the adjustable. Neither one could tell me I caould keep the pump in place and not change the exhaust. CPP is 80 dollars less.

Re: CPP or ECE

I went with the ECE system they said I could use the low mount pump my pan would clear and would need a sloghtnmodification to use my stock exhaust. The price in the catalog is wrong and they gave me a great deal. Stan said to call back anytime.

Re: CPP or ECE

That's what I like about ECE. They do what it takes to keep your business. Their products are usually much better as well. At least IMO, they are.
