Nice tight tilt column

Rust free cabs are almost impossible to find around here, i had to buy it...

Not a score...a STEAL That's a 1000 cab here.... 300-350 in bumpers, and 400 tilt column...so the cab was free!

Looks like a sweet deal to me. I am just curious why there is a hole cut in the door jamb, and the vin tag is mounted so low.

Because it is a 71-72 cab. The tag was that low, and the hole is for a cab vent.

What a steal on this cab.

That is easily a $1000 cab. NO question.

And its factory orange. I wish it was mine.

Thanks. That's why I like this site, learn something new every day. I have only owned a 69, and a 70. I guess that's why had never seen that.

Re: Just scored a deal on craigslist, what y'all think?

Were the rockers replaced? It's odd that the drivers side rocker has all of its paint. Normally it gets worn off from people getting in and out. It doesn't matter, I would pay $700 for that cab any day regardless if the rockers have been replaced or if they were original. Maybe it was just touched up with new paint??

They are original, the PO touched the up a couple years ago...

I was just doing my daily craigslist cruise when i found this. I called in the second half of work "sick" to get it. I had to...
