Question Coolant

What do you prefer?

The more I read about it the more I'm lean towards Evans HPC Coolant to deal with not just the engine heat but the added heat I will get with the twin turbos.

Re: Coolant

I personally run distilled water with water wetter. But then again, I am not in an area that freezes, and I don't want something slipperey God forbid something were to leak on to the track.

Re: Coolant

are these options legal for drag racing? i know typical antifreeze is banned at most drag strips due to its terrible effect on the track when something fails. how effective are they with street driving? my truck will be more strip then street, and i am just curious what options that are out there and what people are having success with.

I have only used distilled water and a water pump lubricator (Water Wetter, etc.). Plain distilled water is a better thermal conductor (allowing the radiator to do its job) than coolant.
