Re: CL GMC SUB price jump
He won't get that much for a non-runner. If it really is as clean and original as it looks in the pics, he'll probably still pull 5 to 7K. Just my opinion.

Re: CL GMC SUB price jump
Man I would love to have that as a project for my daughter and I. She can drive in 3 years. Would be perfect, but not at that price.

Re: CL GMC SUB price jump
Have not seen the truck in person, but that looked to be the score of a lifetime when it sold the first time. The guy who bought it may just get what he wants or close, as VERY FEW burbs have survived in that shape. Greedy? No, probably just aware of what that truck is. Face it guys, we missed it, he got it. ...that lucky b*st*rd! LOL

Re: CL GMC SUB price jump
when you find a deal like that , if you bought it as an investment, then put it on ebay , it would be interesting to see what it would bring..

Re: CL GMC SUB price jump
I've since seen some more pictures. One thing for sure, it is an unmolested survivor. That alone is HUUGE in my book, but it's not as pristine as it could be.
Looks like original paint throughout, but it does have a few places of heavy patina and needs a little bodywork on the passenger side (big loss of OG points right there). Still all-original inside, but the seats look a little tired and the second seat floor mat is gone (no surprise). The engine issue is important for a "fully priced" vehicle. For that kind of dough (10K+), it needs to be running well without needs. There is no doubt the seller will turn a healthy profit on this deal, but perhaps not as much as he first hoped. I still love the truck and REALLY wish I had seen it first. ..%$@#@! LOL Dugvera - You got your nice 4X4 CHEEEEP! so I don't think you can use that as a yardstick. Re: CL GMC SUB price jump
Looks like someone bought it, cleaned it up and wanted to flip it. (mirrors removed, brackets on the rear bumper removed, wheels and tires changed, headlight replaced, gmc grill emblem freshened up)
