Transmission swap

4 speed with granny low to 3 speed column shift....anybody ever done that?

It would be easy enough to do if you get all the parts from the donor but why. The 4 speed is a better trans & you can drive it like a 3 speed without useing "granny". You have a better shifter without the hangups of the column.
