FAT MAN?? AMOR anyone??
Catchy title should get results?? No wonder I have a hard time I can't even spell armor in my title...
Anyway I have looked through lots of old post and didn't see anything on the Liquid Body Armor by Fat Man. Have any of you had any experiece with this product? I was planning to do the inside of the cab, under the fenders etc. Then follow that with mat in the cab. On there site it says something about an airless sprayer which I don't have so I'm trying to figure out what I can spray this mess with also. The only thing I have now are nice paint guns and a cheap primer gun with a 2.3 tip. Any advice would be great! O- and the reason I was looking is the cost is 39.99 per gallon from noise-killers on ebay! Not bad compared to some of the options I guess. Last edited by LakeAnna; 02-01-2012 at 05:49 PM. Re: FAT MAN?? AMOR anyone??
If you are supposed to use an "airless" sprayer to spray on, how are you supposed to "spray" it on?
I guess you must roll it on. Sorry, I have not heard of the product. You might try a search on Utube. Keith |

Re: FAT MAN?? AMOR anyone??
An airless sprayer pumps the paint itself at high pressure...they are used a lot to spray latex home paint.
link usually you would not use it with an expensive paint because you loose about a half a gallon of paint or more in the hoses and such. |

I was looking at this too. I sent an email to them to see what kind of coverage you get with 1 gallon. I will post if/when I get a reply.

I called them and left a message today... waiting to hear back now. I can't remember what they say about coverage per gallon. I was just waiting to talk to someone.

Check out HF.They have an airless sprayer on for like $18.00 or so.It's the "Power Painter" style but should work for this app.

Re: FAT MAN?? AMOR anyone??
Thanks, I was thinking I will try it out first with the undercoat gun and if that doesn't work well I'll just brush it on and be done with it. It looks like a gallon will cover about 40 square feet. Still up in the air on using this stuff or something else??? Spectrum has a simular product and of course there is lizard skin too $$$$.
