now ya see me, now ya dont... (tuck away plate)

Just got done hooking up my plate hider...
also added the LED bolt lights

(click picture to play video)

pretty simple.. it's made for the front plate, so the wires had to be extended...
adding the lights made it take a little longer, most to make sure they didn't bind up with the movement...

for some reason I can get the video to play here in the post?? i tried youtube and photobucket?? any tips??

.

My mom always had the best advice. It was just a tad late. After a fall that involved blood, she'd say....."Careful!"

Not so practical when you are being chased
Any way my point was that in many places the law states that your registration tag should be mounted so that it is always visible, witch means that if you get pulled on a public road and they find a mounting that makes it possible for you to hide your tag they will book you just for having it, even if they canīt prove that you acualy used it.
Maybe itīs diffrent for you guys here in Europe itīs a no no.

Re: now ya see me, now ya dont... (tuck away plate)

Thanks fellas... I'll risk it.. lol

For the most part cops are in Vegas are pretty cool.
8 out of 10 times when they walk up to the window and you tell them you have a gun or two in the truck, they ask "what kind?" 99% of Vegas cops are real gun guys... After 10 minutes of comparing which guns we own, it's on your way with a warning... (if it was a minor reason to pull you over)

between the plate, tinted windshield, limo tinted sides, no side mirrors, no belts and no reverse lights.. I guess if they want to get me, I've given them enough reasons to...

Re: now ya see me, now ya dont... (tuck away plate)

That's a cool idea. Is there a build thread on that somewhere? If so, I can't seem to find it.

Even if you could provide a few details, such as what kind of motor you used and the switching method, that would be great.

Thanks in advance!

It's a kit - Show N go License Plate by Altec. you can find them on Amazon. About $150 bucks. then you just need to extend a few wires to get it to the back.
