trans no leak , then leak

Hello again everyone,

Been running my th350 here and there and no leaks.

Decided to install the new speedo cable, came back the next day to a big puddle

Just wondering if anybody had this happen just by sticking the cable in there?

Is there a spec depth that the inner cable has to go and if its too deep it leaks?

Do enlighten this noob.
