dash gauges
Hi everybody my current dash has the big Speedo and gas gauge and small clock oil water voltage gauge but i want to switch to a dash with a tach in it can i do this or will it require a different dash plug in thanx

Depends on the year of your truck, and I believe the year of the gauges in relation to your truck. I can tell you that if you have a electric speedo, then customizing the gauge cluster is the only way to add the tach. With the electric speedo, there is no simple plug and play solution.

its on a 75 blazer k5. its a cable driven speedo and the dash im looking at is out of a 75 to. i thought about swapping all the gauges out to custom ones but im trying to stay ona abudget.

oh cool i was worried because my current dash has the clock on the left bottom and the clock has its own seperate plug

so on the new dash the fuel gauge is going to be there it will still work ok?

Follow the printed circuit on the original dash back to the connector. Then follow from that same pin on the connector and see if it leads to fuel guage on the tach dash. If not, write down what each pin does on the original (the connector is numbered-look close) and move them to where they need to be in the tach dash.
