Im new to this forum and to this type of truck. I have a 79 c-10 i bought as a project. I put the lowering kit 4/6 on the truck and built the engine yada yada yada. I am interested in throwing the truck on bags and throwing a 4link out back. My question is what airbag suspension/4link systems do ya'll recommend. What is most economical ? I am open to any tips and suggestions and appreciate everyone who takes the time to read and respond. Great forum btw.

Based on the pic with the scooter in back, I will assume you don't want a step notch sticking through the bed. With that assumption I will suggest you consider an Air over Leaf (AoL) system for the rear. You can remove most of your rear leaves and add air bags to regain your load capacity.

There is nothing wrong with a four link set up if that what you prefer. I am running the Ride Tech system and love the quality of their product.

Ive looked into the ride tech systems, im just not sure if i want to spend 3700 on a full system. Im a college student on a somewhat limited budget haha. I want something that is good quality but not outrageously expensive. The towing or load capacity isnt a worry for me. I have a 97 GMC Sierra Z-71 for that. Another question i have is i dont really know how to start this project. Is there any good online resources for starting and completing a project like this ?
