62 C-10 Steering Gear Box
I've got the usual "drives like a clown car" problem with my '62. I'm thinking the steering gear box is bad, but how do you know? (I've never had an old Chevy that wasn't pretty well worn out, so I'm not sure how much "play" should be there. What about the Pitman arm? Thanks for your help!!!

Re: 62 C-10 Steering Gear Box
no play is good !! if you find any loose components replace them then get an alignment ,last but not least tires , being worn or mismatched will do the same thing ....

It shouldn't have alot of play in it.
