Any rules about the mounting heigth of overflow tank

I just purchased this tank off of Ebay my question is , is there any guidelines for mounting these ie.. does it need to be level with the top of the radiator or does the position matter at all ?

as long as it's standing upright and the hose is air tight, it doesn't matter where it goes.
