Emergency help please! Maximum GVW needed
Hi,
Some bozo lost my VIN plate, and so I can't look up this for myself. Could someone look this up, or look at their vehicle: 1975 C10 Silverado 2wd -- 454 -- A/C The key is the 454, which I believe puts it over 6000 GVW. I distinctly remember that my max GVW was just a HAIR over 6000 lbs -- like 6008 or something. This makes a difference here in IL for emissions, and I'm having a tough time passing. |

My GVW on my 4wd 75 Blazer is 6300 with a 350 . I would think a 2wd truck would be simular.
What emisions? The only emissions on my 75 is a PVC. NO EVAP, NO Air Pump, NO Cats, No EGR and never had them. Trucks didn't get most of that till 78. Mine passed in GA no problem last time it needed Emissions. Anything older then 79 doesn't need a test here. My 3/4 88 454 Sub is 8600lb No emissions in GA with the over 8500lb
