Rare 1964 C30 Alaskan Camper truck
OK I know this is going over to the for sale side but I just had to start it here because it is so unique. I just recently picked this up and have been torn on what to do with it. It is a 64 C30 with a 10 foot bed with storage cabinets built in and a 10 foot Alaskan camper in awesome shape.
I was told it was this old guy that use to take it fishing constantly truck only has 71K on it. He had a stroke and the wife made him park it because she was done going out in it and did not want him out there alone. It is missing the engine but it has.... sm420 no slip diff (sticker still there) power steering 3 gas tanks original tach, original stereo and really nice inside dually in the back with all 4 tires (removed two in order to tow) has some rust here and there above window, near bottom of doors some bubbling, a little on fenders and here and there on cab but it is all very, very straight. Good grille, hood, doors, etc... top goes up and down with the pressure jack by hand smoothly interior is in great shape like stepping into a time capsule still filled with crayons and books etc. 3 burner stove, heater, fridge, table, lights, two beds and tons of wood 2 propane tanks I have the pink and it is non-op right now Sat for a long time in the woods and was sapped up and had a few critter share its home but it washed up pretty well. I could probably break this down and make a ton more easily but I think with the camper the way it is and the bed with all the storage it is just tooo cool to bust up. Will put up multiple pictures. Let me know what you guys think, AJ (Burbluv) Last edited by N2TRUX; 03-09-2012 at 01:32 AM. |

It's a shame my pictures do not do the interior justice. I had only partially cranked it open to snap those shots because I had to get going. Only picture number 8 shows the camper truly opened all the way.

Best I can calculate... 331.3 gallons of gas round trip.. If I were to take it slow.
So.. More like 400 gallons :-) Posted via Mobile Device |

Re: Rare 1964 C30 Alaskan Camper truck that I need to sell
I think its a cool old truck. I also "think" that if you want to sell it put it in the Trucks For Sale Forum where its supposed to be.

Re: Rare 1964 C30 Alaskan Camper truck
You can't move a thread from the regular message board to the trucks for sale, they are different formats.
You will need to start a new ad over there and this thread can be deleted. BTW, I love this rig also! Solid axle 4x4 swap, a 6.2 or 6.5 diesel, and it would be the perfect Alaska RV!! Posted via Mobile Device

Re: Rare 1964 C30 Alaskan Camper truck
I agree if this is going up for sale I would close this and post it in the Truck FS. But it is a neet truck

Had a 292 inline 6 originally. Has the offset motor mounts on the frame.

Re: Rare 1964 C30 Alaskan Camper truck
Thats pretty cool looking. Would be a nice project truck or convert to tool truck or flat bed...alot of possibilities.
