60-66 Electric fan install
Since i have purchased the truck in january the truck would get slightly hot. I drove it Tuesday with temporatures in the lower 80's and the truck was running hotter than normal roughly around 210 degrees. I was wondering who make a direct bolt in electric fan for these trucks? I would like a puller type fan, is this the best choice? I did a seach on the site but they were 67-72 trucks.

Re: 60-66 Electric fan install
Your best bet for this is to get a stock shroud and a clutch fan, or a fixed 6 blade fan,[IMG][/IMG] but if your sold on the electric fans go to

Do they make a repro fan shroud? I would rather have a fan shroud than the electric fan! I already have a clutch fan.

Re: 60-66 Electric fan install
Im not around my truck at the time, but I measured my radiator and ordered a perma-cool electric fan the same size through summit racing they zip tie thru the radiator. they also make a wiring kit that alows the fan to cut on and off at certian temps.

You could try a 90's Taurus fan, they are roughly the same width and are easy to adapt
And also like 30 bucks from the junkyard 70 from an auto parts store Posted via Mobile Device |
