That's a good deal. If you can't get your top strut mount screws loose in the hatch, how are you gonna remove the struts from the hatch? Ran into this recently, picked up a nice hatch with all hardware removed, a replacement set of struts and screws,etc. Removed my original hatch- and can't get the top strut mounting screws to budge. Ok, you could split the hatch the hard way but do not want to go there. Lucky I have a hatch with the screws removed, and a nice set of replacement struts ready to go! If you are thinking of swapping out your rear hatch, try to turn out the upper strut screws first! You just can't get to them from the inside! TTT for Ya!
