holley questions

Heres my question I have a new 560 holley avenger I seem to be getting fuel to the float bowl but when I push the trottle back a few times Im not getting fuel spraying out? Help Thanks again

If its brand new take it back....somethings fishey inside, the pump shot is plugged or no check ball or mismatched gaskets...stuck floats ( but thats a long shot )

But a silly question....maybe...
Is this happenning while you are shut off..?
Depending on the carb...(I'm not totally checked out on the Holley 560)....I can say, with my Holley 500 with the 50cc acc. pump, if my engine is not running, after three strokes of the throttle, the fuel level in the bowl drops to the point that I'm startin to suck air.
I hope it's that simple.
